GMS Lunar Reminders is an administrative reminder service for physicians assigned to sporting-event medical coverage. Authorized administrators maintain the physician roster and event assignments. This policy explains how information is handled when operating the service.

Information we collect and use

We may collect and maintain your name, email address, mobile phone number, team and role assignments, event details, reminder information, communication preferences, SMS consent information, and message delivery records. Information may be provided by you or by an authorized administrator.

We use this information to operate GMS Lunar Reminders, maintain assignments and the physician roster, provide support, and send applicable email and SMS reminders. Physicians who have consented to SMS may receive a message after an assigned event reminding them to complete their GMS report, including a link to the GMS reporting website.

Information sharing and SMS privacy

Phone numbers and SMS consent information are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in consent is not shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Authorized administrators may access information as needed to manage the service. Information may be shared with service providers, such as SMS and email delivery providers, only as necessary to operate the service. These providers may use the information only to provide those services.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to manage assignments, deliver reminders, maintain consent and opt-out records, resolve service issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. Information is deleted or de-identified when it is no longer needed for these purposes.

Communication choices

You may opt out of SMS reminders by replying STOP. To request a correction to your information or a change to your email preferences, contact your service administrator or email us below. Opting out of SMS does not necessarily remove you from the physician roster or stop email reminders. See our Terms & Conditions for SMS terms.

No patient information

GMS Lunar Reminders is a reminder and administrative system. Do not use it, SMS replies, or support communications to transmit protected health information or patient-specific medical information. Complete reports through the designated GMS reporting website and follow your organization's reporting and privacy requirements.
